ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Tres Hanley-Millman is the proud “human mom” to rescue dogs Shira and Dauntless, and their predecessors Mitzva and Kaiya.
She began her career internationally as an actress and singer, later expanding into songwriting as a lyricist. Now, she channels her love of words into stories for young readers. Tres is also an artist and amateur photographer, often inspired by the animals and moments that surround her.
Guided by a deep belief in kindness, Tres writes for every child—and every animal—believing that every creature deserves a second chance and a voice of their own.
